Columbus Circle has some of the most lovely mosaic tile work and finishes. I hope that this photo is depicting repairs on it, instead of the process of its replacement.

Their job doesn't look like very much fun.  Especially when the train goes by.  But in efforts to gentrify our neighbourhood, they are fixing the subway.
