This homeless guy had a sign that said "CAN I HAVE A BEER?" but when you went to take a photo, he'd turn it down and tell you to pay him a dollar.

I bought some kids' water guns at Target, and they looked remarkably like purple penis monsters. The fact that they shot water out of their tip didn't help

July 6th: The Last Air Conditioner In the World

Target's very last air conditioner, at the "bargain" price of $260. I had to fight off 2 people in the aisle for it, and another 2 in the store. I tricked two men into hefting it for me and paid another $20 to install it.

Subterfuge and subzero temperatures are all in a day's work.

June 30th: Hot time, Summer in the City

No one likes taking the subway when it's really hot, so they take the bus, and then it gets crowded and hot.
