You take a picture of your tiny cardboard house, and I take a picture of you in your tiny cutoff shorts. This is how it works.

August 2nd: Saggy Bottom Jeans (Boots with the Furrr)
August 2nd: Googly Eyes
The reflection on this shop window isn't fooling you; the man IS wearing an ascot and a glittery jacket. But these things aren't what threw me off when I passed by and had to take a picture...

August 1st: You Are Here
Some graffiti from my favorite neighbourhood bistro, Toast. This ad is in the bathroom, and somehow hopes to ensnare you to move out of Manhattan with the "ideal" bathroom, replete with space and most importantly, A HUGE ARMCHAIR!
The fact that this faux bathroom is larger than my Manhattan apartment is not lost on me.

July 31st: The Poison Tree
This crazy-looking woman begat me. And you wonder where I get it from. This picture demonstrates the first time she's worn jeans in probably 20 years. They're my old jeans, which makes me feel fat (self-perception) but I love seeing her looking happy and silly.
July 31st: My Left Foot
Random collection of single shoes on display at the corner of 133rd and Broadway. Who would take them? Why are they on offer?

July 29th: The Old and the New
Columbus Circle has some of the most lovely mosaic tile work and finishes. I hope that this photo is depicting repairs on it, instead of the process of its replacement.

July 28th: StretchNeck
One great thing about visiting a hair salon in an offbeat and trendy area of New York is getting to see the eclectic clothing and jewelry of the other clientele!
Case in point: This giraffe bracelet that I just love!
July 28th: Enterprising Homeless
This homeless guy had a sign that said "CAN I HAVE A BEER?" but when you went to take a photo, he'd turn it down and tell you to pay him a dollar.
Clever!
